WORK THAT BLUR!: Panning

These are all examples of me practicing how to "pan" in a photo. You focus on the main subject/object, and then everything else should blur, to create/show the effect of movement.

Kids: Summer Fun

Took these during my urban photography class today. Some kids were playing in the fountain, so of course, I had to get some shots of their ultra cuteness. :)

Urban Photography: Day Four, Last "Shoot" Day

So today was our last day going out and shooting. :( I want another week! But anyways, here are my top five of today. I will add some others that didn't make the top five for this week later tonight. Went to the Long Center to shoot these. Chased that butterfly for about 100 shots. (: Took about 686 shots.

Urban Photography: Day Three

Went to the capitol yesterday, day three. Took a 2-exposure shot of the capitol itself, and then some other detailed closeups. I brought the wrong tripod, so I had to literally lay down on the ground , push myself up a bit to be able to look through the viewfinder, and then lay back down and get the shot. Got a lot of funny looks, I'll always remember that photography experience. I also took a shot of a very friendly squirrel!
